Nanotechnology Sensor Detects Melanoma
Scientists from the Monell Chemical Senses Center (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) have developed a nanotechnology sensor for the detection of melanoma. Melanoma arises when melanocytes, pigment-producing cells that give skin its color, transform to become tumors.
