Molecular Characterization of Gadolinium-Doped Zinc Telluride Films by X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy

In this study, the chemical shifts and the shapes of the zinc, gadolinium, and tellurium photoelectron lines were studied and compared to those of appropriate model compounds, to identify possible dopants in the material as well as surface species.
