Analytica 2016: Highlights of Day Three
Thursday 12 MayMunich, Germany — Welcome to the third day of coverage of Analytica 2016 in Munich, Germany. The trade fair will be held at its regular venue of the Munich Trade Fair Centre. The conference is being held at the ICM – Internationales Congress Centre, München, directly next to the exhibition halls, from 10–12 May as part of the international trade fair. The conference will cover all areas of analytical chemistry and bioanalysis – from nano, food, and environmental analysis through to imaging and “omics” techniques. These daily show guides from LCGC Europe and LCGC North America will keep you abreast of what is happening throughout the week.

Thursday Morning Sessions
12 MayMunich, Germany Analytica 2016 will be in full swing on Thursday 12 May and the morning sessions begin with a lecture from Gesine Cornelissen on DoE in Chromatographic Process Development. Gary Hieftje will discuss New Sources and Spectrometers for Atomic, Speciation, Isotopic, and Metallomic Analysis and Petra S. Dittrich will follow with Cell-Derived Vesicles on Microfluidic Platforms for Pharmaceutical and Diagnostic Applications.

Thursday Afternoon Sessions
12 MayMunich, Germany — The afternoon sessions of Analytica 2016 on Thursday 12 May will feature a lecture from Mirko Peitzsch on LC–MS–MS based Diagnostics of Catecholamine Producing Tumours as a Cause of Secondary Hypertension, Eva Krupp on Is Mercury Detoxification Responsible for Brain Disease? A Study on Pilot Whales, and Maria Montes Bayon will talk on Iron Oxide Nanoparticles as Therapy for Iron Deficiency: Analytical Challenges.
