Capcell Pak ADME — A Novel Alternative to C18
C18 is the most popular stationary phase used in reversed-phase chromatography, but has difficulty retaining highly polar compounds. Capcell Pak ADME (ADME) is developed by firstly introducing adamantyl groups as the functional group of the reversed stationary phase of a HPLC column. The changed alkyl structure of adamantyle group provide ADME separation characteristics with a balance between moderate hydrophobicity and ultra-high surface polarity which is completely different from the conventional C18. In this study, the characteristics of ADME compared with C18 columns and its applications in the analysis of metabolite are reported.

Determination of 11-nor-9-Carboxy-THC in Human Urine by QuEChERS and LC–MS–MS
11-nor-9-Carboxy-THC (also known as THCA or carboxy-THC) is the main secondary metabolite of THC. THCA is not psychoactive but has a long half-life. Due to this attribute, determination of THCA in urine plays an important role in the confirmation of marijuana consumption. This application utilizes the QuEChERS sample preparation technique to effectively quantitate THCA levels in human urine.
