Principle Component Analysis with LC–MS enhances Natural Drug Discovery Process
Scientists in Malaysia have collaborated to develop a useful metabolomics approach that could help analysts to overcome the bottleneck in natural product drug discovery. The team applied liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LC–MS) coupled with principle component analysis (PCA) to screen more than 4000 natural extracts for novel photosensitizer drugs. More... |
ACE UltraCore Solid-core LC Columns |
ACE UltraCore is a new range of ultra-inert, solid-core (superficially porous) particle UHPLC/HPLC columns from Advanced Chromatography Technologies Limited. The monodisperse particle distribution of these phases combines high efficiency and performance, with a low column back pressure, to deliver exceptional chromatography. Two complementary phases, SuperC18 and SuperPhenylHexyl, both offer excellent peak shape and superb phase stability across an extended pH range of 1.5 to 11.0. Learn more.
