A Hyphenated, Green, Economical approach for Extracting Compounds of Interest from Food
Pressurized Liquid Extraction is a "green" technology that replaces techniques like Sohxlet which is time intensive and requires large volumes of organic solvent. Used primarily for the extraction of compounds of interest from Food, Semi Solid and Solid sample matrices. This webinar discusses the extraction principles and the optimization of the extraction parameters that improves the extraction efficiency. The use of combined and hyphenated sample preparation and analytical techniques are presented. The use of combined and hyphenated results in a substantial decrease in the amount of sample, solvent, labor, time and power used with better efficiency and selectivity. Register January 6, 2015
