The merger of INC Research and inVentiv Health will make the unified entity a top three global CRO and a leading CCO comprised of 22,000 employees, in more than 60 countries. Current INC CEO Alistair Macdonald will serve as CEO of the combined company, Greg Rush as Chief Financial Officer and Michael Bell as Executive Chairman.

After announcing it had acquired global patient recruitment firm ThreeWire two weeks ago, WIRB-Copernicus Group acquired eSource provider MedAvante and specialty services provider ProPhase, in a move to offer improved study start-up.
