Treating a patient with fibromyalgia
Upon completion of this interactive case involving an initial visit of a 44-year-old female presenting with a three-year history of widespread pain participants should be able to diagnose fibromyalgia according to the ACR 1990 Criteria for the Classification of Fibromyalgia and common clinical presentations of fibromyalgia, develop a comprehensive treatment plan that includes patient and family education, non-pharmacological interventions, and pharmacological treatments, and discuss the current clinical trial data on the mechanism of action, efficacy, and tolerability of medications being studied for the treatment of fibromyalgia. » Go to this activity
