Winner: Jesse H. Neal Awards, Medical Economics for Best Instructional Content!

Advanstar’s Medical Economics, Contemporary OB/GYN win prestigious national editorial awards

New York, NY, March 14, 2014 – Advanstar’s Medical Economics and Contemporary OB/GYN recently netted three of the most prestigious business-to-business editorial awards in the United States.

Medical Economics won for Best Instructional Content in ABM’s Jesse H. Neal Awards, which is described as a Pulitzer Prize for business-to-business journalism. The winning entry, titled “Cracking the Code,” authored by Senior Editor Jeffrey Bendix, documented coding challenges for physicians as it relates to top strategies for selecting appropriate evaluation and management levels, and documenting patient care. The story was originally published in the May 25, 2013 issue of Medical Economics.
