Some Walgreens pharmacists to receive 'behavior-change' training

As part of the retail chain's new Balance Rewards for healthy choices initiative, select Walgreens pharmacists and online chat agents will receive behavior-change training based on noted psychologist B.J. Fogg's methodology, which emphasizes simple steps, or micro-habits, that lead to a healthier life. The pharmacists and online chat agents who receive the training will provide wellness coaching to patients.

"Pharmacists are respected and trusted sources for ongoing support and can help people recognize that they're succeeding on their health care journey with small steps."
—Dr. B.J. Fogg
